About Harper's Southern Magnolia
Our Story
The South is such a special place. While we may have different dialects, customs, and cuisines, barbeque has and will remain our uniquely "shared passion".
In 1954, my father, "Doc" Harper, who my sister, and I called "Deddy", had a passion for all things grilled and smoked, especially barbequed chicken and pork. This passion led him to create a BBQ sauce, that over time became a staple for our gatherings with family and friends and soon for the surrounding community.
At Harper's Southern Magnolia, we believe that food is not just about sustenance, but as importantly, it's about memories with family and friends. That's why we started this small business, for you to create delicious meals and your own unforgettable memories. I'm sure Deddy would approve.
